__NOTOC__ Seblak is a traditional snack from Sunda. This food is commonly found in West Java Province, especially in Bandung, Garut, and Tasikmalaya. It is made mainly from crackers with kencur (aromatic ginger) and chili as the main spices. Seblak is well-known for its spicy taste and easy preparation.
Zutaten
- 250 grams of raw crackers
- 2 chicken eggs
- 1 /4 kg of boiled chicken meat (cut into small pieces)
- 2 packs of instant noodles
- 2 pieces kencur (aromatic ginger)
- 2 shallots
- 2 cloves garlic
- 100 grams of fresh chili
- 1 tablespoon chicken broth powder
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 /2 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil (for sautéing)
- 200 ml water
Zubereitung
- Prepare all the ingredients.
- Blend kencur (aromatic ginger), shallots, and garlic. Add a little salt.
- Blend the chili separately.
- Heat the oil in a pan.
- Sauté the blended kencur, shallots, and garlic until fragrant and cooked.
- Add the blended chili, then stir until it smells fragrant.
- Next, pour in the water.
- Add salt, chicken broth powder, and sugar to taste.
- Put in the crackers and boiled chicken pieces, then stir until cooked.
- Add the instant noodles, and stir again until everything is well-cooked.
- Pour it into a bowl according to your preferred portion.
- Seblak is ready to serve.
